More than 26,000 people in Champaign County experience food insecurity.

We are planning two all-ages RE classes during spring break to learn more about food insecurity in Champaign County. Adults, youth, and children ages five and older can participate.

Each class will have local speakers talking about how food insecurity can be a real challenge for people in our area, especially senior residents, students, and families with young kids. Race, ethnicity, and cultures also matter around questions about food insecurity in Champaign County and beyond. We will also learn more about how our Little Free Pantry works and do two hands-on projects to support our pantry.

We will be putting together hygiene kits and breakfast bags. Please consider making a donation for these classes.
